Honey Seasonal and Varietal
There's so much to say about Honey, and we really love sharing what we experience and learn as we harvest delicious honey from our bees year after year, and travel all over the world tasting and finding descriptions and discoveries about the characteristics of what our beeloved Honeybees do when they collect nectar from plants and bring it back into the hive to become the Honey we all know and love.
Here in Florida, there are over a dozen single source Honeys that are amazing and range from light to dark in color, and from mild in sweetness to extremely sweet, and somewhere in between. If you haven't tried some of the special varieties we have to offer, like Saw Palmetto, I highly recommend it! Taste several honeys at a time, taking a few minutes in between each taste, cleansing your palate with water, and you will be surprised at how you can recognize their unique differences.
Our Hani is produced with extreme care, from the Bees to the Bottle. We do everything by hand and in small batches. We don't heat our honey, so it may crystallize after some time, but don't worry, it is not bad! Just simply place the container in a bowl of hot water to soften so it comes out of the container easier for you. You can eat it just like that. All our honey is unfiltered, with natural pollen retained. Just the way the bees made it for us.
